Capybaras

Cabyparas (Hydrochoerus Hydrochaeris, capivara) are one of the most abundant bigger native wildlife species here in the Pantanal. They are rodents and live in close proximity to the water; on the back of one of them you see a cattle tyrant (Machetornis rixosus, suiriri-cavaleiro). The plants are water hyacinths (Eichhornia crassipes, aguapĂ©).
